BURGLARY ARREST | Man arrested in relation to burglary series

A man has been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries across several counties.

A 23-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary and remains in police custody.

The arrest follows extensive enquiries into the spate of burglaries which has seen homes in Herefordshire and Worcestershire broken into.

Detective Inspector Dave Knight said: “We currently have one person in custody in connection with several of the burglaries which we believe are linked.

“We understand the concern these incidents have raised locally, and we continue to offer reassurance that our investigation is continuing, and we are keeping up our efforts to pursue all those responsible for the break-ins.”
